When Shashi had come to Blore months 6 back from Mudalagi, he told me abt a new song which has become a big hit in our belgaum district. I told him it may be some shabber dange song or may be another double meaning drama by raju talikoti. He said "no, this is a descent one. You will like it". To keep his mood I said "ok, let me listen". Then he played it on his mobile. In the first two lines I could not resist laughing loudly "what a devdas song?" Many of us, during our childhood, were told the Hindu Mythological story about Lord Ganesha and Moon, we were also told not to see the moon during Ganesha Chaturthi. It is said that whosoever sees moon on Shukla Chaturthi i.e Ganesh Chaturthi will be falsely accused/blamed. Since the period of vedas food has been given importance in Indian diet. Called as "anna" food has been referred as "Anna Brahma" "Anna Poorna" since ancient times. Cutting short to the present scenario India is recognized overseas as the country with abundant talent & a country with huge potential. Silently we are also on way to form 20% of the total world population being Indian. A promising country with growing population is seriously nobody's concern when they can self-sustain to form a force to recon with. Fiction ends here! Reality check - Out of 132 Crore Indians roughly 20 crore of them do not have their food/meals daily. In more simple words, out of every 100 people - 15 of them do not get food daily.
